Excel graph or SSRS

Hi All,

I am in need of some suggestions - i have about 130 data descriptions with values which i want to plot in a graph (side bar graph view).

Now obviously the graph will look all messy and crunched up due to the amount of information being displayed.

Is there any way i can do grouping, i.e. group the descriptions and plot the values against the group? hope that makes sense or see where i'm coming from!

I intend to do it either in excel 2007 or SSRS - which ever is more suited best.

Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Yes, one way would to be to group the labels in the correct way, then in an extra column have one group description per group and empty lables for the rest. Now use that for your chart range
