Excel gant chart

HI i have created an excel gantt chart.

Horizontally on row 5 it has days as dates
from row 6 onwards you can put a 1,2 or 3 in a cell and it changes its colour and by doing this you create the sort of Gantt chart. I wanted to if possible find a formula to populate a start and end dateby looking at the cells to the right and referencing the dates to get a min and a max.

I am struggling a bit hopefully that makes sense

The structure of the sheet is something like

Column a is the task desicription
column b is where i want to start date to populate
Column c is where i want the end date to populate.
from column e onwards are the dates.

Row 5 has the dates
row 6 onwards is for each individual task.

I am also happy to do it the other way round which is to put a start and end date and then let the gantt chart appear.

any help would be great thanks
