Hi Excel gurus

I have a long list of company names (list a) and a shorter list of company names (list b), i'd like to search for each of the companies in list b within list a BUT need to use fuzzy search, i.e.

If list b contains "AAA BBB CCC" - need to know if list a contains either "AAA", "BBB", "CCC", "AAA BBB", "BBB CCC", "AAA, CCC", or "AAA BBB CCC" etc

any recommendations of how to do this? Have tried a countif but that only returns exact matches

thanks in advance

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
