Hi all. I have an extensive excel sheet with products and prices. It’s not one list. Is there a way of applying a formula to all cells that contain values and not the text cells. Note, the cells are not in a line, they are in tables spread about the page. Thanks. In hope.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Hit F5, click Special, check "Constants", Uncheck all but "Numbers", click OK.
Start typing your formula and when done, hit control+enter rather than enter.

Hi - I've managed to get them highlighted, but I'm not sure how I begin to put the formula in as it begins to overwrite one cell?

Basically, I'm looking to multiply all the cells by 1.5 times their value. Normally I would highlight the cells and (the cells would "flash"), then I would enter the formula?

Aha, you didn't mention that! This takes just one extra step.
- Enter 1.5 in any empty cell and copy that cell
- Hit F5, click Special, check "Constants", Uncheck all but "Numbers", click OK.
- Press paste special and select the multiply option.
