Excel formulas OFFSET with COUNTA

Hi all,

It drives me crazy but I don't understand why it does not work. Excel gives me always #VALUE!

Those formulas should automatically add the new values in the chart created where in the column A there is ''MONTH'' and in the column B ''TURNOVER''

Here is the formula for the turnover

=OFFSET($B$2,0,0,COUNTA($B:$B)-1) which is a reference for the chart as "turnover"

Here is the formula for the Month

=OFFSET($a$2,0,0,COUNTA($a:$a)-1) which is a reference for the chart as "month"

and it's not due to ";" instead of ","

Any ideas ?

If you are trying to use the COUNTA as a row offset, maybe:

=OFFSET($A$2,COUNTA($A:$A)-1,0)

Actually I've found why it gave me #VALUE !

That's because the formula was not on the same line where the data was

Hello everybody.

Here find the excel file, so if you add new values in the column A and B the chart is automatically updated.

So, someone can explain me, why when I create a new Excel file, with the same formulas it does not work ...
