Hello Masters,

I need help to lookup for a parse of string in a column and return.

Let say, I'll use part of the string "Amazon" and look up the value in vendor list below.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Try:

Book1
ABCD
1Transaction DescriptionVendorVENDOR LIST
2AMAZON MKTP US*W40ZX72I3 AMZN.COM/BILLWAAMAZONAIR BNB
3PaypalPaypalCATHAY PACIFIC
4CATHAY PACIFICCATHAY PACIFICPaypal
5AIR BNBAIR BNBAMAZON
6xxxxx
7xxxxx
8xxxxx
9xxxxx
10xxxxx

B2:B5B2=LOOKUP(2^16,SEARCH($D$2:$D$10,A2),$D$2:$D$10)

I had to change the vendor list to just "AMAZON" since "AMAZON MARKETPLACE" in its entirety was not found. Also, it you leave room for expansion in your vendor table, you need to fill the empty rows with something you won't find in your descriptions.
