I have 2 cells. A1 is blank and A2 pulls data from another sheet based on a range. What i am trying to do is have A1 look at A2 and if A2 has any text in it then A1 will display Complete and if A2 has any text in it then A1 stays blank. Is this possible?

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Your description is a bit confusing, as you have given two different results if A2 has text, but maybe
Excel Formula:
=IF(A2="","","Complete")

So basically these are my cells. the middle three cells pull information from a list on another sheet. What my attempt is to take the text you see in the first cell and have that auto populate if the second cell has text and if it dont then it stays blank.. this will carry over on the fourth cell as well. The picture is the actual text im trying to print out.
The outcome im after would look like this

If you want what your image shows, try
Excel Formula:
=IF(A2="","","{""item"":""")
