Hello all, I need help with this problem.
Spreadsheet works fine in my computer and another colleague's computer. Our computers are not networked in any way.
However, it is also opened in a computer using Chinese regional setting and language is when the formula became broken.
For example, original formula is:
=A1
When opened in the Chinese region computer, the formula turns into this:
='[sample sheet 2.xlsm]Sheet1'!$A$1
The actual name of the Spreadsheet is "sample sheet.xlsm" and the formula no longer works and shows #REF error.
NOTE: It only happens in one sheet. The other sheets are OK. I have a hunch that users might have copied over the same sheet from a duplicate workbook (with a different filename), causing the formula to generate external links.
What do you guys think? Is there other ways this could happen?
Thanks.
