I have the formula = Sheet1!$C$9 in cell H1 on Sheet 2, I have this formula copied down from H1 to H52 (these are weeks). The value of cell on Sheet 1 C 9 may change when it gets to say H7 but I do not want the value to change that have already been entered in H1 to H7 – how do I do this?

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
If I understand what you're saying, then when your formula returns a value, you need to then convert the formulas to their values.
Copy the range then Paste>Paste Special (ribbon Home tab) and select values only.
