Excel formula for a furnace runtime and create a cycle number for each data cohort

I have an extract of data showing furnace run-time for each 5-minute interval (Column B) by day and time (Column A)
Looking for assistance in creating a formula totalling furnace run-time for each cycle when the furnace is running (Column D). Also looking to add a unique run cycle number when the furnace is on (Column c).

When the data shows "0", the furnace was not on.

The number in column B represents how many minutes the furnace ran in those 5 minutes (60 seconds times 5 minutes = 300 seconds).

Columns C & D is what I would like the formula to calculate.

How about?:
In C2 this formula:

=IF((B2<>0),IF((N(B1)=0),MAX(IFERROR(VALUE($C$1:C1),0))+1,C1),0)

And in D2 this formula:

=SUM($B$2:$B$1000*($C$2:$C$1000=C2))

and copy down both.
