Hi Everyone,

I have an excel sheet with a pivot table/slicer that is formatted with a dark border. However, when I use the slicer to drill down the cells that are now empty show no formatting. Is there a way that I can keep the dark border once I drill down?

Regards,

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
It sounds like you are formatting the Cells and not the Pivot Table.
Use the Pivot Table styles to format the Pivot Table. There is a custom option too.

So I have the pivot table formatted, however when I drill down with the slicer my formatting for the cells change to no formatting. I believe this is because when I drill down there is less data so the cells resort to no format. Not sure how to fix this.
