I have a user form that reads information based off the dialog and then gives a button that will open an excel file. The problem you click the button and the new Excel file appears blank unless you go back and close the Userform from the previous excel file. Is there a way to either close the form and allow access to the new file, or just have access to the new file with the form still open?

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Welcome to the forum,

What code do you have behind the userform. You should be able to add an unload me which might help or switch the focus to the opened workbook. But it would be helpful to know what code your using to help find a solution for you.
