Excel Family,

Can a macro created in Excel for Windows 7 be run on a MacBook using Excel on the Apple OS X operating system?

I copied the Excel *.xlsm file from Windows 7 to MacBook OS X. The Excel file opened but the macro does not run.

Do I need to run Windows Excel on the Mac using Bootcamp or Parallels? Was hoping to stay in native OS X, which is preferred by the users.

Suggestions?

Any help is appreciated.
