I have a weird question today. Today I moved a bunch of my files around to reorganise my computer, but once I move an Excel file to say folder A I found the data in the files are gone. However moving back the files to the original location shows the data is still intact. Even weirder if I make a copy of a file, and move that copy into the same folder A, the copy shows the data is still intact.
The temporary solution would be to make copies of the files but the problem here is there are too many excel files to make copies. The main question here is why data seems to be lost in the original file after moving to a different location, but an exact copy of the file shows the data can (and actually should?) still be intact.
