Excel file does not open

Hi all,

Please help out if you can
My file Excel Rough.xls refuses to open and instead I get a message
"Excel Rough.xls is locked for editing, by Clarence Pais. Check Notify to open read only copy of the document and receive notification when the document is no longer in us.

I click notify the message reads " File error data may be lost".
When I click "Ok" the message reads " THe Instruction 0x300844DA" referenced memory at "0 x00001034. The memory could not be read.
Check OK to terminate or cancel to debug.

If I click debug the dubugging starts in C++ which I am unable to handle.

Can anyone provide a solution, or alternately I may be able to email
the file as an attachment to debug and restore. But kindly guide me how.
It may refuse to attach .

Hello,

Silly question, but have you tried rebooting? Also, have you tried to make a copy of the file in Windows Explorer and then tried to open that?

If you can't get it to work then you can email me at questions@danielklann.com and I'll take a look. If you zip the file it would be appreciated.
