Help please if you can, I cant seem to find anywhere else.

Im trying to find the equation for 2 things,

1. I have a chart I'm making and trying to calculate if something is past due 30 days, 10days, and 5 days
is there an equation to find out if the dates I entered have passed those numbers of 30,10, and 5.

2. is there an equation to find the average of days between 2 dates i have entered
for example

1/17/2022 1/25/2022
2/5/2022 2/8/2022
1/8/2022 2/10/2022

whats the average number of days it takes from beginning to end?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
if you want to do it in a cell then the formula would be
Excel Formula:
=IF((TODAY()-10)>A1,"true","false")
this will show true or false in the cell. you can repeat the code changing the 10 to what ever value you want.
You could use a very similar code in conditional formatting to change the cell colour if it is past due.

Not sure I understand what your question 2 is but if you subtract the second date from the first it will give you the number of days between.
if they were in cells a1 and b1 it would be
Excel Formula:
=b1-a1
if you want the date half way between the two then it would be
Excel Formula:
=a1+((b1-a1)/2))
in the last example you just need to format the cell to short date to get the actual date
