Hi All.

I trying to make a chart in Excel grow dynamically based on a couple of user inputs.

I have data from 24 months, but I want to be able to choose how many of these month to show, and which month should be the first month in the chart.

I have followed this guide
Chart the Last 12 Months Dynamically

Based on this guide, I can only achieve my goal if my data is on the same column. ==> see file 'Testing with dynamic charts; One line'

However, I want to have my data on 2 columns instead. ==> see file 'Testing with dynamic charts; Two lines'

How can i change the formula in the Name Manager so it can be used with file 'Two lines'?

I have uploaded the two files on my ftp, just copy this location to your Windows Explore:

ftp://Gaest:Gaest@80.162.41.250/sda1/Gaest/

Hope you can help. Thanks!
Alex.

Your link doesn't work for me. Can you put the workbook on a share like Box.com and post the URL?

Thanks for your replay.

That is how the 'One Line'-document already is. My question is, if I can arrange my data like shown in the 'Two Lines'-document, as that is how I really want it :-)

I don't think that's possible, sorry. I would use a range like the one in your One Line document for the chart and another range for display purposes it that's what you want.

Just duplicate your data, one range for display and another range for the chart, somewhere out of view.

Isn't there a better way of doing this? Do I have to have duplicated hidden data, only to achieve a simple goal of having my data on two rows instead of one?
