Excel Dynamic Table

I have had this issue for awhile and can't seem to fix it. When i have table set up I will occasionally enter data on the next row outside of the table. The table auto expands as it should. However, i later realize that i don't need the new data i entered and delete. In order to make sure my pivot table does not include the now blank rows of data, i manually adjust the table via the green arrow upwards to exclude the blank cells. This in turn, shuts off the dynamic auto expand feature of the table. So, going forward i have to manually adjust the table to include any new data that i entered. So, how do i turn the dynamic feature back on. I have reviewed the auto correct functions in options and all the boxes are checked. Other solutions suggest i should add a formula to make the table auto expand. However, i don't think i should have to do this if it worked before without the formula.
TIA

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
I must admit im a bit confused. If you enter data in the next row below a table it autoexpands. If you want to delete it just highlight the row and delete. The table responds by resizing. The pivot will also respond assuming its data source is the table in question and you have refreshed the pivot. Am i not understanding the problem?

Maybe that was the initial problem. Instead of deleting the entire row of the unwanted data, i deleted the cells that had the data in them. When doing that, the table does not auto respond and i must manually resize the table to exclude the row of blank cells. Going forward that dynamic feature no longer works. I must manually resize the table every time i put in new data
