Excel dropdown lists

I am new to drop down lists. See below example.


List of Fleet Vehicles

redcar
bluecar
greencar
blackcar
..etc

I want to be able to choose from this list and after choosing an item, I don't want it to be available again, unitl it has been cleared from the cell. Is this possible?
