Microsoft Excel Tutorial - how to draw a semi-circle in Excel.

The Insert Shapes drop-down menu in Excel offers an oval, but not a semi-circle. How can you draw a semi-circle? Most of those shapes include a yellow handle for changing the inflection point. You can use this handle to make the partial circle into a half-circle or quarter circle.

How to draw a semicircle in Excel. Up here under insert shapes.
There's not a semicircle here, but almost all of these shapes can be changed.
So if we draw the partial circle, I'll hold down the shift key while I draw.
And then look for this yellow handle right here, that yellow handle can change the shape.
What I'm going to do is I'm going to take this and put it right on the edge of the cell border.
So I have something to guide me, and drag the yellow handle until it's just there.
Once you get it drawn, you can use the rotation angle to change the orientation of the semicircle.
