I'm working on a excel document that will be shared on an internal network and I want it to rely on another file for the key.

Example:

My co-workers and myself can work on this excel document on our internal network, but if someone takes the excel file without the "key" then the document will not open or will not work correctly.

I hope I described that correctly. I also ideally would not want to enter a password everytime.

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
You should not use Excel for this purpose.
Excel's security is notoriously poor. Even if you try password protecting it, it isn't that hard to hack.

Perhaps you want to use some secure Zip program to secure it, or use some other program altogether.
