I need to take a date (currently formatted as 07/25/2019) and make a new column into text with 8 characters. 07252019

Ideas?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
You mean like?
Code:
=TEXT(A1,"mmddyyyy")
(if your original date was in cell A1)

Exactly! I knew it was easy, but couldn't remember. Thank you so much, a lifesaver!
