Excel Dashboard to display data

Is it possible to a dashboard or userform automatically open when Excel is started that contains a drop down box that filters by plant name? Based on what plant is chosen in the filter or drop down box the plant contact information is displayed? I thought about using a pivot table, but I could not get it to do what I needed.

Maybe use a parameterised query. Suggest you look in Excel help or google for info. Such as http://dailydoseofexcel.com/archives/2004/12/13/parameters-in-excel-external-data-queries
