I have a laptop with Excel 2016 (365) installed which started playing up this morning.
When ever i try to open a Macro enabled templates, excel crashes.
There is defiantly nothing wrong with the code as the template is used on 30 other laptops and has been used for several years.

Macros are enabled by default. I have disabled macros but as soon as i click on "Enable Content", it crashes.
I've opened the template in safe mode and tried to save it as a new template but it crashes when i try to save it as well.
I created a file with this template only yesterday and i can't even open that file without is crashing.
I have tried repairing the install and completely uninstalling and reinstalling again.

I don't know what to try next. XLSX spreadsheets are working perfectly fine, its only the .XLSM spreadsheets that are causing problems.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
