Can someone please help me???

I have an Excel file that has the cost column in cents so if something is 1.25 it is showing as 125 .

When I change it to currency the numbers change to 125.00....

Anyone knows how to fix the issue faster than one by one. I have over 5,000 items to go through!

In this short video, learn how to multiply an entire column by 0.01 to quickly convert 125 cents to 1 dollar and twenty five cents.

Lidia has 5000 rows of data.
That cost is in pennies, so that's really $3.84.
Lidia tried to use Currency but that doesn't solve the problem.
So right now Lidia is going one by one to fix them.
What a horrible thing. Here's the fast way: 0.01 in any blank cell. Copy that - control C.
Select the ones you haven't fixed yet. So right here I'll press control + shift + down arrow. Control+Backspace.
And now we need to get into Paste Special. Home, Paste, Paste Special.
Or right-click. Paste Special.
Or Control+Alt+V. In Paste Special, right now, we have 0.01 on the clipboard. I want to take that number and multiply it by all of these numbers in pennies. Click OK and you see that very quickly changes all 5000 of them.
An awesome trick.
