Hi all
I would like to be able to create an audit trail within Excel to record, for a single worksheet (lets call it SOURCE:

- cells that have been amended
- who amended it (we all log in, so I assume an Active Directory user name field could be used?)
- date/time amended
- what was done in the cell - this is an optional thing as I realise this could be the most difficult thing to do!

Either for every cell on the worksheet or, if that would be memory/time consuming, a cell range.

Would like the details to recorded in another worksheet in the same file (lets call that LOG).

I have looked at a fair number of other audit trail VBA and can't get close!

cheers!

works like a treat, thanks (well, as soon as I realised I needed to unhide the worksheets in the VBA properties!) - much appreciated.
