excel cell selection

I have the problem that when my mouse/cursor moves over any cell, I get a little white box come up with a message"Chart Area" or "Horizontal (Category) Axis" or some such message appear. I have recently unlocked this particular excel sheet so it only happens on this one. If I open any other excel sheet, it is perfectly ok and the box does not appear.

The box appears on any of the tabs I open, it stays on the screen for a while and but disappears after about 10 seconds or so or when I take the cursor out of the excel page. The version I have - I think is 2019 version. It is just a little annoying as it sometimes appears on the cell I want to change/write in and of course I have to wait for it to disappear.

Does anyone have a solution please.

Thank you

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
I have just noticed that once I click on a page - it does seem to disappear so is not so much of a problem but would still like a solution as when I go to the next page, it is still there ..... until I click.
