Hi, as I said in my title, this is due to an update but I cant find out how to correct it, I think is similar to the issue where macros dissapear after update but cannot remember how that works either. searching on windows forum just leads to a weed patch. Any help please? Windows 10. I should clarify files in the recent files appear but if you click browse and go to where you know the files are they are not visible.

I found the probable cause of the issue. The file explorer option was set to "All excel files" but they become visible if I set it to all files. Possibly because they were generated when I broke up a massive file with Split on-line and they are not proper excel files. If I do that again I will try and find an option to output the result as .csv files.
