Hello,

Longtime excel user here. I am getting increasingly annoyed with Excel freezing / glitching, and I have ruled out majority of issues besides what I cannot see/control.

In perspective, using any worksheet with >25,000 rows of data, excel is incredibly slow. Currently, a sheet with 100k lines, deleting maybe 50,000 lines on a filter, and the entire computer is basically frozen at +20min.

This is unheard of to me. I've had +100mb excel files at previous employers (16g ram / 64bit excel) and it would be "slow", but not like this.

Has anyone experienced something like this before, where the employer has a software / plug-in that causes excel to behave the way I am describing?

TDLR, excel behaves a lot slower at one employer vs previous employers. Computer is 16g ram / i9 processor.

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Is it the same in safe mode?
