I have Excel 2010, and I've never had that kind of issues in previous Excel versions. It doesn't matter the size of the file, if I use macros or not, this message appears if I want to create a new tab... or open a file, this message appears, forcing me to close everything, and open again, which is very annoying .

The only way it was temporally resolved, it was when my computer was reset and it was fine for 10 months, and now it appears again!

It's very annoying to close all the workbooks, close excel and reopen it again, because I use it for my work, but it takes a lot of nonproductive time.

Please, how can I resolve this for good??, not just the workarounds found in Microsoft, which doesn’t resolve the problem permanently

Please help!!!!

If it was fine for 10 months and then reappeared, I'd suggest there is an issue with what you are running at the time or you have
1. too many applications open / running
2. a workbook with a lot of conditional formatting
3. a large amount of complex formulae

or a number of other "large" activities being attempted.
If you are a power user and need one or many of the items above, you may need a memory upgrade or even a PC upgrade to accomodate your needs.
I had the same problem with a design software I use and ultimately had to get a more powerful computer to handle it.....this isn't necessarily a Microsoft problem

Michael, thank you for your help, however, i think that before any PC upgrade, the best thing to do is to install Temp File Deleter, and delete all the temp files and suddenly, the issue seems that is gone (for now).... the link I found the solution is here

You don't necessarily need an addin
You can do the same thing through control panel / program tools / disk cleanup
