I think we should commemorate the 6th July, 2009.

A gold-star to the first one that works out why.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Geometric?

Or November 21, 2036?

Well done. Bit of an easy one, really. As you know Excel gives each date a number and 06/07/2009 will be 40,000.

Not sure what we should do to commemorate that, but as Mark O'Brien was first in he wins a gold star and I think if any of us are still around on his suggested date of 21/11/2036 (ie. 50,000), then we should all pop round to his for tea and scones and a chat about how to convert an Excel 2003 file into Excel 2033.
