Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
The chart is not working the way I had hoped. I tried to post a grid from my worksheet the would keep the formatting and allow the user to copy and paste cells from the sheet. What I got was a sort of picture of the grid not the grid itself.

Sorry.

It's posted correctly. It's an actual grid of colored cells that I copied and pasted directly into an Excel worksheet. If you click the little "copy" icon at the lower left corner of the grid you can paste it into Excel with formatting intact.

But I don't know what I am supposed to do with it now that I have it. It is a matrix of 512 colors. Other than that, I'm not sure what you have in mind.
