You can post an image by creating a local jpg file, then uploading it to a image-sharing website (I use postimages.org), and copy-and-pasting the URL for forums or clicking the Insert Image icon to insert the URL IMG tag into your posting, like the following.
However, IMHO, it is usually better to upload a redacted Excel file that demonstrates the problem to a file-sharing website (I use box.net/files), and inserting the download URL into your posting.
Some contributors object to that because they will not or cannot download Excel files. To appease them, you can also try to present the Excel data and formulas in a table (Go Advanced). There is an Excel add-in that this forum recommends. I have some problems using it.
