Hi,
Two issues here:
I have an Office 365 Mac subscription and have noticed the xlookup function below, where it yields "NAME?".
I have also noted the threaded comment below (which appears instead of the normal comment section) which makes no sense to me as I have the latest version and concerned about losing comments I originally placed.
The blocked out website takes me to Bing.com and there are additional comments below the blocked area that I have entered previously and not included in the screenshot.

If I quit and reopen Excel sometime 1,2 or 3 times, Excel will open with the appropriate XLOOKUP function (without the _xfln.) and the "normal" comment section

I am at a loss as to what to do to be sure I don't lose data/functionality'

Thanks

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
I guess I am missing something pretty big !
Having used Excel for a while, perhaps at a junior level, I cannot comprehend why Excel would change the comments on a spreadsheet to notes and deliver to me the comment above.
I have always used comments (infrequently) to serve as a note to myself and understand that comments are interactive and notes would be more appropriate.
I would welcome an explanation that explains MSFT's comment above.

Finally, must I go thru every Excel document and change comments to notes?
I can't seem to find an answer as to how to do this easily.

Thanks
