I have an Excel 365 spreadsheet with a Table called "Table_Data_Entry". Row 2 of the spreadsheet contains all the Table headers. The first header (in cell A2) is "Date". All the headers should have a Filter/Sort icon, and they used to, but now the Date header does not. I cannot replicate this error while the data is in a Table, so how could this have happened?
The only way I can replicate this is to convert the Table into a Range, remove the filter icons, select all the headers except A2, and toggle the filter for the selected headers. However, when I convert the Range back into a Table, all the headers get a filter icon including A2.
The sort/filter functionality appears to still be there and I can access it via the right-click menu.
The users of this workbook do not use VBA, which so far appears to be the only way to do this, so that is not the answer.
Solving the issue is a simple case of togging the filter buttons, but I want to know how the Date filter could go missing by itself in a Table.
