Hi! Networkers,

On Windows 10 desktop; using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021 version 2210

I have an Excel spreadsheet which, on a daily basis (since the last 2 years), extracts correctly data from a website:

Mutual funds list

But Since version 2208 dated september 13, 2022, my extract fails; it does not recognize embeded tables within the web page.

See Error printscreen below

You can test it : using the DATA tab, click "extract from web", use the mentionned url then the left navigator panel indicates that the url page contains only 'Document', no more Tables as previously

Same result with versions 2208 or 2209
Same result from Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019

Is there a solution, workaround... Any help is appreciated.

Can you reproduce ?

Is it me or an excel bug or a bad htmp web page... ?

Thanks and have a nice day

@gargamalebarbosa: Many thanks for your time. It is very appreciate.

I do think the same;
but I am not an html expert and cannot put my finger on the culprit in the view source/frame page

otherwise, I would use the 'Get data advanced tab' instead of the 'basic tab' and try to add the missing headers...

What I find strange is that this happen the same day as the release of version 2208 (september 13th, 2022)
Is it releated ? Do you think so ?

Again, many thanks

I tried to report the problem to my bank branch manager but
his reply was that this page is for browser display only and is not intended to be a source for extraction
even if I tell him that is was working without problem since the last two years!

They are no help, they said that they escalate it to the marketing department... still waiting for a reply

I also use google to find some rbcgam.com contact page.
This seems to be a very large corporate who does not want to be contacted by public[/soapbox]

Also, I assume that I am not the only one trying to extract data from that website
and that the problem has certainly been escalated correctly as it exists since the last 6 weeks.

but I would really like to resolve it by ourselve and use a workaround in the meantime.
