Excel 2016 Pro Paste Link Greyed Out

In previous versions of Excel I was able to select an Excel graph, copy and using Paste Special, paste an active link in another worksheet (or in Word). I now find that in Excel 2016 Pro Plus that Paste Link is greyed out. A quick search found several other users with this issue, but did not see a resolution or statement that this function was no longer available.

Thanks in advance for any information on this issues,

jaustin

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
I am running Excel 2016 Pro Plus and the Paste Link is not greyed out in my copy. Perhaps you have a corrupted copy and need to uninstall and reinstall.

alansidman,

Thanks for the response. I have two computers with Pro Plus and both have the same issue. Will do some additional trouble shooting. Thinking it might be something regarding what I'm trying to link - an Excel graph.

Alan,

Ran into the same problem on Pro Plus (click to run). In the past have been able to use the Paste link very successfully. Trying to copy/paste an Excel Histogram graph. Have you had any luck in a solution?

Thanks in advance,
