Hi
We switched to MS Office 2016 a few months ago and I've noticed Excel opens each file in an individual session instead of multiple files in one session. No big deal except Window Explorer is the easiest way for me to open files and when a file is opened this way, it does not share the personal.xlsb macro file. If a file is opened through Excel, there is no problem. Because of the structure of our folder system, it's a bit too cumbersome to navigate through them all to open files through Excel.
It's actually rather annoying as every time I open a file through my normal process, it has to be closed and then re-opened via Excel when the system tells me that my personal.xlsb is locked for editing...by me.
Is there some way to eliminate this problem?
Thanks
Danielle
