This has got to be easy, but I've looked through hundreds of posts and can't find just what I need.
Using Excel 2013, I have created a userform with a combobox. The combobox values (a list of names) are built dynamically from selected rows in a column on the spreadsheet using .additem. When a user selects an item from the combobox, I would like to fetch further information (to populate other objects) from the original source line in the spreadsheet. Back in VB6 there was .itemdata in which to store an associated value such as source row number for each item in the combobox.
Is there something simple like .itemdata in Excel 2013's VBA, or do I have to create a 2-column combobox with a hidden column to hold the source row number?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
