I recently upgraded from Office 2007 to a new 2013 version but am suffering no end of stability issues. I purposely asked for 2013 as I was advised to stay away from 2016 for the very same reason. I have been using 2007 for years with not a single complaint, was by comparison a very stable application. Today alone, my Excel session has been unresponsive and closed down 3 times.
