Excel 2013: Slicers - two different slicers for same pivot table field?

I have 8 MSBI pivot table pulls in a workbook - 4 relate to 2014 information and 4 related to 2015 information. I want to have two different Slicers to facilitate easy updating of the information:
1. would link to the 4 2014 pivot tables to field "Month" so I can update from say 2014 Sep to 2014 Oct
2. second would link to the 4 2015 pivot tables to field "Month" for similar type of update

When trying to set this up by creating Slicer and then selecting data connections, I find if I set first "Month" slicer to the 4 2014 pivot tables, then set the second Slicer to the 4 2015 pivot tables - the second Slicer just overrides the first --- so the 2 of them end up always being the same --- vs. having one point to the first four pivot tables and the second to the other four pivot tables.

Anyway to accomplish what I'm looking for with Slicers or not?

Thanks.
