Hello.
We have old computers in my company. Most have office 2010. I'm fighting with sysadmins that they need to install office 2016, but they argue that new office would eat lots of resources and this old PCs would be laggy. I tried to find some info about resources consumption of different versions of excel but didn't find anything clear.
In my personal opinion excel 2013 and 2016 with turned off visualization features should be no different from office 2010, and may be even more balanced and quicker.
Please help me prove I'm wrong or they are.
