Hope to use Excel 2010 and Excel 2019 on same computer. Recommendations?

I probably do not need “the latest and greatest” of Microsoft 365; I have been retired for 10 years.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
As long as they are either both 32bit or both 64bit, that shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure to install the older version first, and choose to keep prior versions when installing the newer one.

We have tried for several months to secure Office 2019 (Excel and Word).
Every vendor and every support person that we have contacted states the product is just available for download.
They accept the payments and then advise that the install program removes all previous versions of Office and other unspecified files.
They do not answer questions on how to install the programs without deleting Office 2010. We can manage fine without Office and we do not
want Microsoft 365.

Without Office, I will not post suggestions to the forum. It seems only single digit % of suggestions are actually considered and/or acknowledged.
