excel 2007 performance

Does Excel 2007 run much faster on Dual Core processors? Is it multithreaded?

Any info would be appreciated.

If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Sort by date Sort by votes
It runs alot quicker for me on dual core.

Many of the macros i run are completed less than 1/4 of the time.
