Excel 2007 Beta

Anyone else planning on giving the Beta a whirl? I'm in the process of downloading it at the moment....

The ribbon thing on first inspection looks like the kind of thing you'll be looking to turn off quickly and return to the 'old' Excel menu style. Maybe it will grow on me...

Don't believe that is an option; what it is - it is.

In all honesty, I haven't yet played around with it much so it may well not be possible to go 'back' to classic Excel. I was blown away on doing Ctrl+End and then marvelling at row 1million+!!

I haven't looked at it other than to read the various 'official' blogs on the package. One thing that comes through loud and clear is there will be a learning curve with 12!

I don't think there is a way to go "classic" on the toolbar(s). B2 just came out, I'll be interested to check it out, I've only messed with B1 so far. Looks promising, but there will definitely be a steep learning curve for all..
