Hello all! (Newbie here)

I'm currently doing a multi data graph on Excel 2003 (Strain gauge experiment), the problem I'm trying to get my head around is how to set the data to pass through or start at the origin?

If the data doesn't then I'm presuming it will display it over or under (0,0)?

The graph looking good but my lecture wants it described as above!

Any help much appreciated! :)

Hello and welcome to MrExcel.

If you mean that you want each axis to start at 0, right click the axis, select Format Axis and on the Scale tab set the minimum to 0.

To add a trendline that passes through (0,0) right click one series, select Add trendline, follow the prompts and tick Set Intercept and enter 0.

Right click the trendline, select Format Trendline, on the Options tab enter 1 for Forecast backward. You may need to experiment with the value to get the line to stop at exactly 0.
