Hi there I am getting this error popping up every time I open up my excel:

[Pop up 1]
System Error &H80004005 (-2147467259)

close it down...
[Pop up 2]

Out of memory (Visual Basic heading on the pop up box)

I was on a microsoft help site & they had a "work around solution" that did not work.

So when I open up excel, I get the two pop ups as discribed above. As soon as I try to save any file, I get the first pop up & I cannot do anything else (actually have to shut down excel from the task master)

Please let me know if anyone has a solution to this, as I use excel quite a lot.

Also, this seems to have popped up after I finished uninstalling a 2010 office demo pack - not sure if they are related, but I cannot think of any other catalyst.

Many thanks in advance for your suggestions

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Hello and welcome to The Board.
When installing multiple versions of Excel, Microsoft recommends installing them (a Custom install) into different folders (e.g C:\Program Files\Micosoft Office 2003 and C:\Program Files\Micosoft Office 2010).
it is possible that uninstalling Office 2010 has resulted in one or more files required by Office 2003 being deleted.
You could try doing a 'repair' of Office 2003 - insert the CD and you should be presented with a repair option.
