One of my customer has Excel 2000 and her files are out on a network share.
She all of a sudden cannot see the files when she drills down to the folder locations. She has to manipulate the drop down and select all files in order to see anything...
This is not the normal behavior. Any one got a clue?

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hi welcome to the forum,

It maybe a folder setting on the network share side, in its options rather than an excel thing.

What do you mean a folder setting. Nothing has changed on the network share. The files are there if you view them from windows explorer. It's when trying to open them within Excel that she see's nothing until she changes the drop down for file type to all files....
Then she can see them
