example files on page 12 and 13 don't match.

i am new to excel and i am using the new book learn excel from mr excel as my learning aid. i downloaded the samples files for pages 12 and 13 and neither one of them are the same as in the book for those pages. i don't see 7 workbooks listed as mentioned on page 12, and i the example for page 12 doesn't look like the one on page 13. both example files from pages 12 and 13, are talking about new shapes and indeed show pictures of different shapes instead of say the example on page 13. also when i open either of the example files i get a message saying that they couldn't be opened because my security is too high and i should lower it; is that normal or should i lower it and would that be safe to do because i am using DSL. any help to clear this up would be appreciated, just remember that i am new to all of this, so i plead my ignorance1 lol

Hi Dave,

First, it is safe to lower your macro security to Medium. This gives you the choice to enable or disable macros for each workbook.

Second, the point of pages 12-13 is how to set up a Workspace so that Excel can open two or more files all at once. It is not really relevant what files open with the workspace - you can easily set this up on your computer to open two or more files that you frequently work with.
