Hi, I don't know if this is an Excel or Stats or Math question, but I need to fill in the blanks here:
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 118pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=158 border=0><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 59pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2889" width=79><COL style="WIDTH: 59pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2889" width=79><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD class=xl67 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0; BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0; BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0; WIDTH: 59pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #f0f0f0; HEIGHT: 15pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=79 height=20>

I need to determine growth rate based on this trend.
If possible, I would like to know thought process/formula.

Also, it would be nice to know on what date it would hit 2,000,000... 2,400,000???

Thank you very much in advance...

Excel Joke
Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
To calculate growth, put in the cell after 1,200,000 this formula:

= (B2/B1-1)/(A2-A1)

and format it as percent.

B2 is 1,200,000
B1 is 1,000,600
A1 is 11/6/08
A2 is 2/26/09

Hi, Thanks for that, but I am not sure if that was what I needed.
Basically, the stats I have are for dates of very different intervals. Historically, some 1 month periods show a growth of 400,000; however, some show 30,000. I remember there was a formula that takes care of this, but it has been a while.
